PinPointe Footlaser Information
Medically known as onychomycosis, toenail fungus is easily spread—by shedding invisible spores when you walk barefoot in locker rooms or across carpets, in nail salons, and even as you remove shoes and socks.
Not only is it easily spread, but toenail fungus is exceptionally durable, often standing up against the most aggressive antifungal pills. Its ability to resist standard treatments introduces additional risk because of evidence associating antifungal pills with liver damage. Another popular treatment, a toe lacquer that requires daily application for almost an entire year, has been shown effective in only 10 percent of patients.
The Procedure was painless and didn’t take long at all…Dr. Spier and his staff are very friendly and professional and give their patients the very best of care! I couldn’t be happier with my new toenails.
